You're a legend Wulf!
A predictably brilliant academic swan song from our friend Wulf Livingston, Professor of Alcohol Studies at Wrexham University with his public lecture 'Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll'.
Marcus couldn't make it as he was at North Wales Recovery Communities, which goes full circle with the impact you make to the recovery community with your trusteeship of NWRC.
No doubt we'll see you again up on the Snowdonia hills some time soon!

⚠️ NEW PRISON FILM SERIES PREMIERE – THE WORKING WEEK EPISODE 4 of 4 ⚠️
This series saw us visit HM Prisons and forward thinking businesses up and down the UK.
These community 1st spirited organisations are offering people serving prison sentences opportunities to work on themselves and their skillset on the inside, so that they become far more employable and potentially secure work before they're released.
In this 4-part series, we explore how and why businesses in the UK are choosing to work in HM Prisons with people doing time, and what the results have been so far.
This fourth and final episode features Richie, an inmate in recovery from addiction working for NiCo (as featured in episode 3). Richie explains how The Working Week has helped him stay clean and sober during his time in prison and how he has been offered a job with NiCo once his sentence has been served.

It’s happening! We are about to launch a new Recovery in Focus project in Wrexham - and this could be YOUR chance to take part.
If you are in early recovery from any kind of addiction, then take a look at this brilliant project, starting in May.
* learn how to take photos that tell your story of addiction and recovery
* learn photography skills and editing techniques
* build a robust toolkit to support you in long term recovery
* become part of our creative recovery community
Start date is Wednesday 13 May, running every Wednesday for ten weeks. Based at Eternal’s home in Borras this will be mixture of skills workshops and location photo shoots. It’s free, it’s got a fantastic track record and there’s ten places available!
We will arrange transport from Wrexham if needed and all photos are taken using mobile phones. No previous photography experience needed, just you, your phone (any phone with a camera is good) and a desire to strengthen your recovery.
We are extremely grateful to the Office of the Police & Crime Commissioner for North Wales for funding Recovery in Focus #9 (and #10 which will take place later in 2026).
To find out more or to secure your place, please contact the team by email hello@eternalmedia.co.uk

It's a tiny ask but will have a profoundly positive effect on people and our communities. 💜

Please can you spare us ten minutes of your time?
Here at Eternal Media we are incredibly proud of the number of people we have welcomed to our projects over the last ten years.
Now we would like to ask for your help … it’s not your money or your efforts that we need, simply ten minutes of your time to complete a survey - from the comfort of your own chair!
As we take our next step forward in running more creative projects in the addiction recovery community, we are compiling a consultation survey for our National Lottery funding bid. We need as many responses from the recovery community as we can possibly find and we’d really appreciate your help.
All responses are anonymous, it’s simple to complete and will only take ten minutes (unless you choose to write a novel in the “any other suggestions” section!). The only requirement is that you are in recovery from addiction or that you are considering recovery.
Please click on the link below to complete the survey.
Huge thanks from us all at Eternal Media.

"We're placed in cold damp rooms... It's not shelter. Surrounded by filth, noise, smoke and fear, there's no privacy, no rest, no dignity." - Freya on her experience of being homeless as a teenager in North Wales.
Whilst filming and participating at a homelessness convention recently, we were blown away by Freya’s incredible ability to describe the state of support for young people without homes and her bravery in sharing her own story in shocking detail.
Freya’s powerful presentation highlights what is possible for people to achieve when they are given belief from others and when they receive suitable support from services.
We’re excited to see what Freya does next!
