Our Team

Set up by Director, Editor and Producer Marcus Fair, himself a recovering addict and passionate film-maker, Eternal Media is supported professionally by Ex Assistant Chief Constable of North Wales Police, Simon Shaw, Bafta award-winning Director and Editor Peter Norrey and Project Development Manager at Wrexham Glyndwr University, Rachel Lacey

Marcus Fair
Creative, Director Producer & Charity Member

Marcus is in recovery from a 25 year substance addiction. One could argue that his understanding of drug abuse and its causes is probably too detailed!

Over the years he has given talks on his experience and insights with many professional bodies and Marcus is uniquely positioned to support others who have a desire for a new way of life.

Despite the chaotic life that Marcus once led he achieved an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer), working for an IBM partner. Marcus is now an experienced team leader, producer and creative lead and has delivered many successful projects.

For a number of years he worked as part of the creative team for a music and film production house. Some of his roles included filmmaker, musician, playwright, actor, sound engineer, events coordinator, screenwriter, stage work, editor, director, photographer and broadcaster.

Marcus has also specialised in working with vulnerable adults and children.

Simon Shaw
Business Development, Producer & Charity Trustee

Simon is a former design engineer and police officer. During his 30 year police career, he served in South Yorkshire and North Wales, undertaking various roles and ranks from that of ‘village bobby’ to Assistant Chief Constable. Whilst serving as Assistant Chief Constable, Simon invited Marcus to help the force make a training video. That project evolved into ‘Flipped It’, the first film produced by Eternal Media. Simon retired from policing shortly after the premiere of ‘Flipped It’ and continues to support Eternal Media in a voluntary capacity as both a Trustee and a trainee producer.

Rachel Lacey
Charity Secretary & Charity Trustee

Rachel is a Project Development Manager at Wrexham Glyndwr University who has worked in the education, public and voluntary sectors, winning a large number of bids from different funders over the last 20 years. What makes Rachel tick is working with smaller charities which are making an impact in their local communities.

Peter Norrey
Creative, Executive Producer & Charity Trustee

Peter is a BAFTA & RTS Award winning Film Editor & Director based in London who started his film education at Wrexham College of Art in North Wales over 20 years ago.

Peter’s film and television career has taken him to most continents of the world and he aims to bring his vast skill base and understanding of the production process to Eternal Media. As an Executive Producer, Peter brings guidance and advice on creative and editorial matters, is actively involved in finding real world opportunities for Eternal Media employees and is a professional support to the charity.
